NOTICE OF MEETING FOR GENEVA AREA CITY SCHOOLS
BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Geneva Area City Schools Board of Education will meet in special session on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at the Board of Education, 1301 S. Ridge Rd. East Suite A. The Board will immediately go into executive session to consider the appointment, employment, discipline, or compensation of a public employee, the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, to conference with an attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action, and preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment; the Board will reconvene into open session to take action on a tentative bargaining agreement with OAPSE; a service agreement with the YMCA; and a settlement agreement with Brian Ames.
