At their January 7, 2025 meeting, the Ashtabula County Commissioners recognized Geneva High School Athletic Director Jen Crossley for earning the prestigious Bruce Brown Award of Excellence. (Also recognized was AD Steve Kray of Edgewood. Geneva and Edgewood are the only two districts in the county to earn the Bruce Brown Award)
The purpose of the award is:
To recognize on-going and consistent efforts on the part of Ohio interscholastic athletic departments that demonstrate best practices and nationally accepted standards in the endorsement and promotion of education-based athletic programming. Specifically, this award recognizes schools that demonstrate intentional efforts to shift the culture of school-based sport programs as an on-going process.
We want to thank Ms. Crossley for her continued dedication to the students of Geneva and relentlessly striving for excellence!
