Due to emergency situation and road closure, students who live on route 20 between Ansel drive and Addison Road. We are unable to get buses into that area, temporary group stops will be set up at the corner of Addison road and Route 20, at Geneva mobile home park, and at Dollar general. Please expect delays as we maneuver these unexpected closures, we are doing everything we can to get all students to school safely and in a timely manner. It's Goody Bag time again! Our Goody Bag recipients this week are Delany Paxton, Bryce Peet, Wesley Walls, and Hunter Elek. FOR Club wishes you a fabulous Friday!!
This week was National Breakfast Week. The GHS cafeteria celebrated by selecting1 lucky breakfast winner each day. The daily winners were: James Bridenstine, Lane Distler, Lillian Pierce, Roman Chafrette, and Hunter Ellis. Please see Mrs. Knauff in the cafeteria to claim your free bag of chips or ice cream.
Winter athletes please join your teammates, parents and coaches at the Winter Sports awards on March 13 at 6pm!
Be sure to come out and see the GHS Theatre's production of Matilda this Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm or this Sunday at 2:00pm.
Tickets are $5 for students or $8 for adults. Tickets can be purchased during all lunch periods or at the doors before the show.
Key Club and Philanthropy are hosting a food drive. They will be collecting cereal, canned fruit, peanut butter, pasta, and ramen noodles through March 15th. Please turn all donations into your first period teacher. The winning class will get donuts.
There will be an Interact Club meeting on Monday, March 11th at 6:45 a.m. in Mr. Yost's room.
Spire needs volunteers to assist with the Division II swimming and diving championship on Wednesday, March 13th through Saturday, March 16th. There are multiple time slots available each day, and you can sign up on Google Classroom.
