Return to School Plan for Families
The plan will be released this week (Aug. 10th - 14th). A robo-call will be sent out notifying parents and students that the plan has been updated and released. The District is still making some changes but it is anticipated that the plan will be released tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12th). Thank you!
Robo-call : A call will go out to all families tonight. It reminds families to check on the website for details and information about the "Return to School" plan. In addition, the new website has many new features... the mobile app (available from Google Play and the Apple Store) will provide real-time updates when all of the tools are being used. There are still some corrections and issues that are being worked out with our new website vendor. Finally, some families have not returned Chromebooks that were loaned in the spring to students. Please return Chromebooks to the Board of Education Office (135 S. Eagle St.) by Aug. 3rd. We would like to get all of our technology cleaned and updated before the school year begins. Thank you!
The "Return to School" plan is coming soon! Due to some additional changes and discussions with various school employees and groups, the plan is still being finalized. The District will provide more details about our plan during the week of August 10th to our families and community. Please see the timeline and updated letter under "NEWS" for more information.

District Telephones - After a 24 + hour issue with the district phones, they are operating again! Thank you for your patience!
DISTRICT TELEPHONES - The District telephones have been out for the last 24 hours (and are still out as of 2:27 PM - 7/14/20). We are working with Windstream to correct the issue. Outside caller can't call in and the district is unable to call out (to an outside number) from our phones. If you need to contact someone in the district, please feel free to email me at eric.kujala@genevaschools.org and I will relay your message. Please put PHONE CALL in the subject line.
Our new website and app was just released. We will be providing more information to families as we finalize and correct some information. The app will allow for "real time" notifications to families and specific schools. Download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play ...and watch for more details!
Check out the "News" Article about possible plans and options for the 2020-2021 school year. This letter was sent home with all students with report cards (except for grades 6 - 8 since their information was posted online). More details will be posted soon.
