On March 31st, Bus 28 HS/MS will operate approximately 30 minutes early for the AM route due to staff call offs, while Bus 28 GPS will run 10 to 15 minutes late. The transportation staff is actively managing the situation, and inquiries can be directed to the Transportation office at 440-466-4831 ext. 1188.

Anyone interested in being a part of the GHS Theatre Program is invited to attend a thespian meeting on Tuesday, December 17th at 2:30 in the GHS auditorium. We will be discussing technical positions and auditions for the spring musical, Freaky Friday. Come and be a part of something amazing!
Come celebrate 8 Days of Christmas in the cafeteria. Each day, students who get a lunch will be entered in the daily drawing for a prize. Two names will be drawn and announced for each lunch line until Dec 18th. Those winners will then be entered in the Grand Prize drawing and will be announced before Christmas break. Also NEW this year: the cafeteria needs help decorating their little Christmas tree. We are asking students to make lightweight ornaments for our tree. There will be prizes for this also. Come join the fun with your HOLLY JOLLY Lunch Squad!!!

Here are the GHS Announcements for Monday, December 9th. Congratulations to the JV Boys Basketball team who kicked off their season with an exciting 35-33 victory of the visiting Beachwood Bisons on Saturday. The Varsity also had an exciting game, coming back from a double digit deficit to notch their first victory of the season by a score of 68-63. Great job to both teams! Both teams host CVC crosstown rival Madison on Wednesday. Freshman game time is 4:30, and JV tipoff is 5:30. Come out and cheer on your Eagles as they begin conference play! Our wrestlers were in Madison this weekend for the Ashton Hynd Battle by the Lake Tournament. Ashtabula County students ages 16-18 who are interested in learning to fly will have a unique opportunity to attend Ground School Training, which is required to pass the FAA Written Exam. The Northeast Ohio Regional Airport has partnered with Avit Flight Academy for a 5-week ground school, beginning December 9th. Classes will take place Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays at the airport from 6:30 – 8:00PM. Christmas week will be skipped. The cost for this class is $80, which will be reimbursed once the FAA Written Exam is passed. There may be additional scholarships available for flight training once this is completed! This is an incredible opportunity for Ashtabula County students! Those that are interested need to register by December 2nd at: https://flyavit.com/ground-school-registration/
